History
Co-founded in 1994
by Dr. Gene Amdahl and Ray A Williams as Commercial Data Servers, the company's
first product was a next-generation S/390 mainframe server. Used by customers
to meet Y2K conversion challenges, these departmental servers began shipping in
1997 and are still in use today. During the mid 2000's, Xbridge Systems shifted its' focus to
delivering mainframe software and Professional Services that would provide the onramp for
universal data access. Whether information was captured within current or legacy mainframe systems, newer database formats, storage devices, or elswhere - Xbridge Systems
enabled the access and delivery of the right information to the right people in the right
format and the right time - anytime.
Xbridge builds upon its' many years of mainframe experience by developing an analytical layer on top of its' extremely powerful and flexible data access technology. The result of this development is the world's first and ONLY automated mainframe data discovery software tool available in the market today.
