In the article, WSJ (asks): As you built out your infrastructure and the software-defined network, how did security fit in?

SJ (reply): “All applications are different. An ERP is not equal to maybe a social tool. You want to make sure you’re looking at those types of data. Today, I think there’s a lot of hype on protecting every piece of data in the enterprise. And I actually don’t think that’s possible. I think what you have to do is figure out what’s most critical and get razor-like precision on that. And, with the new technology, between virtualization and between security products, you’re able to turn the dials up and down based on the type of data it is.
